Date When Celebrated : Always January 8th

This cracks me up that this is a "Day"! Who comes up with this stuff!!!?! But...Thanks to my Iphone, I not only watched, but caught a moment or two to share on this must-celebrate-holiday that is "special" and occurs right under our noses...in the shadows.. on facebook..and today...at my house.

Normal Work Face
Regular moment playing dress up
with jewelry his nieces made--(pulled this from

 mentioned the holiday could
not be spent looking at recent photos)

Me with My shades on for some regular...yearly..Jan 8th.. Male Watching..

Cutest Male ever!! Lucky me!

The Holiday explanation suggested that you can perform your Male
Watching just about anywhere that suits your fancy.  :-)
Mine happens to center around this guy :-)
Happy Male Watching day!

In Honor of Elvis Preseley's Birthday, The Elvis

Some pop stars are remembered for their music, some for their style, which Elvis was.... But Elvis Presley may be the only one who’s also remembered for a peanut butter sandwich.
Not just any peanut butter sandwich, but one that adds mashed bananas and sometimes bacon to the mix and is typically pan-fried or finished on a griddle. In other words, a sandwich with an over-the-top sensibility – just like Elvis himself.

Writing with humility and humour, Hawking opens up about the challenges that confronted him following his diagnosis of ALS aged twenty-one. Tracing his development as a thinker, he explains how the prospect of an early death urged him onward through numerous intellectual breakthroughs, and talks about the genesis of his masterpiece A Brief History of Time – one of the iconic books of the twentieth century.
